Fire Station Visit

We "Universal Kids" visited Bharati Vidyapith Pune Fire Station on 27th May 2019. Kids are very excited to see working of Fire Station. Thanks a lot to Mr.Ramteke Sir for giving permission for visit. As we enter in fire station they start arranging all vehicle and equipments to show demo to kids. They are really brave and great that they save lives in danger without hesitating and without thinking about even their life. They do their duty with dedication.

 We discuss about fire incident in Pune and Surat also, they told basic remedies and precautions to kids. Fire can be arises at any time and any where but we should know how to tackle with it and save our lives. Mr.Ingle Sir and Mr.Shirke Sir give all demo and information about each equipment, how to use various things in various situation to save anyone's life.

They show all the equipments like Rope, water pump, water supplier system, how to save anyone's life from removing him from the trap, it may be bird, animal or human being. They not only handle fire related problems but they also help in accidental cases.
Many years ago, there was a big fire at five star hotel (J.P. Hotel) in upscale Vasant Vihar and now in Surat coaching class. So many people died. But Japnese and Americans guests at hotel survived. Why? Because they put wet towels under the door so that no smoke enters their rooms. They put wet handkerchiefs on their faces and lay on the floor,as the smoke moved up. Most deaths are caused because of smoke inhalation, not fire. Most Indians in the building jumped out of their windows due to fear and many died. The critical difference has to do with training.

General public should be made aware of what to do and how to behave in case of fire. Be Alert . Be vigilent.
