Police Station Visit

Place :Bharati Vidyapeth Police station, On 15th May We, Universal Kids visited to police Station for the purpose of understanding the police dept and their functioning .We understood the structure of the Police Station. Nature of duties performed by Police officers in a police station and mainly to change unfriendly image of police in kid's mind. See and observe the role of police in contemporary society with changing trends of crime and criminal tendency.

Initially kids are anxious and feared about Police station but as we entered there, the officers started communicating with kids in a friendly way that their fear ran away and they felt secure and happy. Mostly in movies they show unpleasant image of police , but when we actually met them, talked with them we realised that kindness, concern and care behind their uniform.We even not expect their much supportive nature for our visit, but they were very co-operative with us, they showed and gave information about each department briefly and gave answers to kids questions satisfactorily. While following their duties and attending cases they gave their precious time to us we are very much thankful for the Gratitude shown to us.

We visit each and every department and try to understand their duties. Control room where we see that wireless for communication when anyone call's on 100 number. FIR division where people register their complaints. Verification block for passport verification. Record room where all records of criminals are kept. Equipment room where all Guns and equipments were kept. Investigation department, Survilance department and many more...

At the end we all went to the Deputy Police Officer's Cabin, he offered us with Happy buiscit and tea and had a conersation with Kids. Our motive was that Police shall be Kids friend and they shall not be feared to communicate, ask for help from them and feel free when police is nearby. We feel happy that the fear about the police has ran away from kids mind and the image changed to friendly. Thanks to all officers in Bharati Vidyapeth Police Station for their Great support at the end All Officers and Kids had satisfactory smile & happy faces.
